Our Roots
Lotus Private Equity Group was founded by James Stephenson who currently serves as President of the company. James got his start in business nearly 20 years ago when he opened his first Automotive Repair Shop in West Springfield, MA. His start in business was a bit rocky.

After facing the same challenges as other business owners such as how to market, hire, train, retain, and all of the things needed on the back end of the business. He began to feel that there wasn't enough time in the day and this overwhelming feeling led him to seek a professional Business Development Coach. Over the next few years they would teach him how to operate a business, the right way. He also began to surround himself with some of the top business owners in the country.

Years later James went on to become a Business Development Coach for one of the top Business Development firm in the world, specializing in Independent Auto Repair Shops. After years of helping small business owners take hold of their businesses and their finances, James used this experience and founded Lotus Private Equity Group.

Since founding Lotus PE, James has branched out to helping other trades. To do this he began to recruit some of the top Tradesmen and Tradeswomen in the country.
